Senior Soccer {Mclean, Great Falls, Vienna Photographer}

This afternoon I hung out with some Seniors from a local high school. They are all on the varsity soccer team and graduating this year. This is the little one of another one of the ladies I met for lunch today. Couldn't you just squeeze her, she is so cute. She didn't want to sit still for anything and I was lucky I got these two shots. We loved meeting her face to face and are glad that her mommy drove all the way up from North Carolina to meet us. We hope to see you both again real soon!

All Boy! {DC Metro Family Photographer}

When I was pregnant with my little girl I found an online community of women who all had babies due in October, 2007. Throughout the past 2+ years, many of us have met and developed friendships that reach beyond the walls of that online community to form "real live" friendships. This little guy is one of those babies born the same month as my little girl and whose mom has become a dear friend of mine. We get together when we can to catch up and see our children play together. We met for lunch today along with two other mommies from this group. We had a great time. After lunch we went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and true to form, this typical little boy found a puddle that was just begging to be jumped in. Can you picture his thought process in these pictures? I told you, he is All Boy!

Little Miss "C" {DC Family Photographer}

I was so excited for this session to see my friend Miss "C". This is the fourth time that I have taken pictures for this family and I just love them. They are so relaxed and it shows in this little girl. Perfect in every way, I know we are going to become fast friends as I document her first year. Can't wait to see you soon!

It's almost here... {Northern Virginia Child Photographer}

Spring that is. We took advantage of this beautiful day we had today to go to a local garden. I love coming here in the Spring when all the Daffodils are starting to bloom and the buds are coming out on the Cherry Blossom trees. This time I took advantage of the opportunity to also scout out some great locations for pictures. If you are in the area and would like to schedule a Springtime Session, don't wait to long. It is creeping up on us and will be here and gone before we know it. I have to get a permit from the garden at least 7 days ahead of time so these sessions cannot be booked at the last minute. They have a wonderful children's garden with cute things for the kids to do. My little one loved this giant, colorful sculpture and had a blast running in and around it.

So Handsome {Family Photographer}

What a sweetie this little guy was. From the moment I walked in the door he smiled at me non-stop. It made him so easy to photograph and a delight to work with. He is definitely going to be a charmer as he grows up. Thanks for spending the afternoon with me "K". I hope we can do it again real soon.

Sweet Blue Eyes {Northern VA Photographer}

Yesterday, my first stop in my day of photography was at this little girls house. I have had the pleasure of photographing her before. You can see how she has grown here. Congratulations to mom and dad for raising a beautiful sweet girl. I can't wait to see her again in a few months.

Perfect as can be {Northern VA Photographer}

Well, it has been baby week. I have had the privilege of photographing two newborns and two sweet ones under the age of one. This little sweetie was born on Friday. I did a maternity session with her mom in January and am looking forward to her newborn session next Sunday. I love this couple, they are so relaxed and ready to settle in and love on this sweet little girl. We didn't notice at first what Dad's shirt said, but after I saw it I had to agree, she is just as perfect as can be.

Little "J"

One of my greatest honors is being asked to come and photograph life's truly important events. This past Sunday I had the great pleasure of meeting Little "J" for the first time as he hung out with his parents in their hospital room after his grand arrival. Not even old enough to go home yet. I photographed his mom before he was born and am looking forward to next weekend when I get to photograph him after he gets all settled in his new home. Thank you for sharing this precious time with me. Welcome to the world "J" and congratulations "R" family. He is just as precious as we knew he would be.
