Perfect as can be {Northern VA Photographer}

Well, it has been baby week. I have had the privilege of photographing two newborns and two sweet ones under the age of one. This little sweetie was born on Friday. I did a maternity session with her mom in January and am looking forward to her newborn session next Sunday. I love this couple, they are so relaxed and ready to settle in and love on this sweet little girl. We didn't notice at first what Dad's shirt said, but after I saw it I had to agree, she is just as perfect as can be.

Little "J"

One of my greatest honors is being asked to come and photograph life's truly important events. This past Sunday I had the great pleasure of meeting Little "J" for the first time as he hung out with his parents in their hospital room after his grand arrival. Not even old enough to go home yet. I photographed his mom before he was born and am looking forward to next weekend when I get to photograph him after he gets all settled in his new home. Thank you for sharing this precious time with me. Welcome to the world "J" and congratulations "R" family. He is just as precious as we knew he would be.

14 days old and sweet as can be {Northern VA Photographer}

This little guy was just as sweet as could be this afternoon. He wanted to stay up for the party and did not go to sleep the whole time. His big sister was a great photographers assistant and helped me get these cute pictures of him. Thanks for spending the afternoon with me F family. He is just as precious as can be.

Happy Valentine's Day {Northern Virginia Family Photographer}

I hope all of you had a wonderful Valentine's day filled with love and the people closest to you.

Warm afternoon

Any time we get a chance to go outside during the winter months is great. Today we didn't even have to wear jackets, well, I'm not to sure what could be better than that. Sydney has decided her favorite thing to do is to collect and carry around rocks that she finds on the ground. This new obsession is thanks to her Grandma S who is one of her favorite people to hang out with. So this afternoon for an hour Sydney collected rocks and I, of course, followed her around with my camera. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Spring is Coming!!!

Spring is my favorite time of year. I love seeing all the flowers blooming and the bright colors bring us out of winter. It has been a cold winter around here and seeing all the bulbs poking out from the ground in my yard gives me hope the it will soon end and brighter, warmer days are just around the corner.
